The NATA Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine (ICSM), formerly known as the College/University Athletic Trainers' Committee (CUATC), is currently seeking applications for a representative to serve on the NAIA Committee.

The ICSM is an athletic conference-based committee is comprised of members from the college/university setting, including ATs working in DI, DII, DIII, 2-Year Institutions and NAIA institutions.

The NATA Intercollegiate Council for Sports Medicine (ICSM) will address issues affecting the student athlete and athletic trainers at the collegiate level. The ICSM will identify relevant, timely issues in the field of athletic training and collaborate with various organizing bodies of collegiate and intercollegiate athletics to improve student athlete safety, well-being and healthcare by influencing policy and providing resources.

All experience levels are encouraged to apply.  We are looking for athletic trainers who have a passion to improve student-athlete healthcare. 

If selected, this position is a one-year term beginning immediately, renewable annually through June 2027.

Intellectual Property

Work and materials developed, created or written—as a committee, work group, or board member, or in any other volunteer capacity for NATA—shall be deemed work-for-hire under copyright, intellectual property, and other laws. NATA is granted sole and exclusive ownership of all such work. Committee members waive all claims and/or so-called “moral rights” to the work, and assign these rights to NATA.
